Tender Description

The Punjab Irrigation Department invites tenders for important civil works in District Pakpattan under the Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure. These works are scheduled for the period from 1st July 2026 to 31st December 2026 and are to be executed on an item rate basis according to the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System. The department is seeking experienced engineering firms and contractors licensed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) to participate in this procurement. Items being procured: - Removing Daryai Booti and Kalali for improving tail of 1R/3L minor from RD. 5+000 to RD. 85+000 - Unloading banks of 3L disty from RD. 126+000 to RD. 134+000 - Removing Daryai Booti and Kalali for improving tail of 3L disty from RD. 103+000 to RD. 145+000 These works involve removal of silt and debris (Daryai Booti and Kalali) to improve irrigation canal efficiency and water flow. The sites are located in Pakpattan district, and the works require adherence to approved engineering standards and specifications. The contractors must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System and provide valid PEC registration for the year 2026-27 along with proof of tax registration with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA). Earnest money amounting to 5% of the estimated cost must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Manual bid securities or submissions outside the e-Procurement portal will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted online by 27.10.2026 at 12:30 PM, with bid opening scheduled for 27.10.2026 at 01:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Eastern Bar Division, Pakpattan. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount and provide a time-bound execution schedule immediately after acceptance. Compliance with all PPRA rules and the Punjab Irrigation Department's terms and conditions is mandatory.
