Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Larkana to undertake the comprehensive renovation of the existing Police Halting Point at Kiran. The project covers extensive civil works including dismantling and laying of marble flooring, cement concrete works, plastering, and wood joinery. Sanitary installations involve fitting of W.C. pans, lavatory basins, steel sinks, and UPVC piping with all necessary fixtures. Electrical works include wiring for lighting, fans, switches, circuit breakers, and installation of a solar system with panels and batteries.
The site in Larkana demands careful handling of materials such as Verona marble, deodar wood, and high-quality sanitary fittings to ensure durability and compliance with safety standards. The engineering challenges include precise dismantling of existing tiles, proper curing of concrete, and integration of electrical and solar components to modernize the facility.
Bidders should ensure they hold a valid PEC registration in the relevant category for civil and electrical works. Compliance with FBR registration and Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26 is mandatory. Contractors must prepare their Technical and Financial Bids with Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender requirements.
The submission deadline is set for the 7th of July 2024, with bids opening promptly at 10:00 AM at the District Police Office Larkana. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes following the prescribed procedure.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents for specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Ensure all technical specifications and compliance documents are complete to avoid delays during evaluation.
