Tender Description
Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) headquartered in Sector G-5, Islamabad, is offering an opportunity for renting underutilized lands located at prime and highly commercial locations across Pakistan. This procurement aims to maximize revenue through optimal utilization of PBC's assets, including land and civil structures, aligning with modern commercial needs. The properties are situated in key cities such as Karachi, Bahawalpur, Larkana, Rawat (Islamabad), and Sector I-14 Islamabad, with land sizes ranging from 5 to 50 Kanal. The scope includes planning, designing, and constructing infrastructure for approved commercial uses like transportation, logistics, warehousing, medical colleges, banks, ATMs, and other profitable services. The selected lessee will manage and maintain the premises, ensuring compliance with national and provincial laws, and will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and clearances.
Eligible bidders include multinational companies, financially sound public limited companies, state-owned entities, banking and warehouse companies, hotels, restaurants, sports clubs, medical colleges, and allied services. All bidders must be registered with SECP, FBR, and PPRA, and provide proof of licenses, past experience, audited accounts, and a business plan. A security deposit equivalent to one year's rent is required, along with a minimum 2% refundable bid security. The lease term is a minimum of three years, extendable by mutual consent, with a 10% annual rent increase. Utilities will be registered in PBC's name but paid by the lessee. The submission deadline and exact dates are to be confirmed, with bids submitted to the Director Administration at PBC Headquarters, Islamabad.
