Tender Description
The Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) Karachi invites bids for the repair of the East Peripheral Area Boundary Wall of the Mazar-e-Quaid. This procurement is specifically for civil works related to the boundary wall repair at the site behind Quaid-i-Azam Mausoleum Karachi-5, Ferozabad Sub-Division, Karachi East District, Sindh. The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under tender reference P54563.
Items being procured:
- Demolition of reinforced cement concrete: 9 cubic meters
- RCC 1:2:4 for columns and situ of boundary wall including form work: 14 cubic meters
- Cement plaster 1:6, 13 mm thick finished: 160 square meters
- Cement dana treatment on both sides of boundary wall: 160 square meters
- Supply and fix deformed bars Grade-60 including cutting, bending, binding: 700 kilograms
- Supply and fixing guard bars, grills, railing, ladders, brackets, hooks, hold fasts and frames including welding and fixing: 290 kilograms
- Erection of guard bars, grills, railings, ladders, brackets, hooks, hold fasts and frames: 3000 kilograms
The scope includes demolition, RCC works, plastering, cement treatment, steel reinforcement supply and fixing, grill fabrication and erection. The site is the East Peripheral Area Boundary Wall of the Mazar-e-Quaid. The work is to be completed within 30 days from commencement. The contractor must ensure all materials conform to specifications and the work is carried out with due diligence and quality standards.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration for civil works, FBR NTN and GST registration, and inclusion on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Bidders must submit a bid security in the form of a pay order of PKR 67,805. The bid validity period is 180 days.
The bid submission deadline is Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0 only. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be on the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. The bid security original must be delivered to the Resident Engineer Office at the Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board office before the closing time.
