Tender Description
The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh Karachi invites bids for the repair and maintenance of its garden for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the Secretariat located at Court Road, Karachi. The scope includes the supply and planting of various plants such as Chinese Rose, Dryseenia, Duranta, Motia, Youfobia, multiple types of Palms, Seasonal Plants, and other greenery. It also covers excavation and disposal of old soil, provision and levelling of sweet soil and manure, supply and fixing of approved quality grass, and monthly maintenance including cutting, irrigation, pest control, and shrub trimming over an area of approximately 52,000 square feet.
Eligible bidders must have at least five years of relevant experience, valid registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 million. Submission of earnest money amounting to 5% of the total bid value and a tender fee of Rs. 3000 per item is mandatory. Bidders must submit original bid security and tender fees physically before 10:30 AM on 08.07.2026. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the Committee Room of the Secretariat. The quoted rates should be inclusive of all applicable taxes including Income Tax and Sindh Revenue Board taxes.
The contract will be awarded on a rate contract basis with a work completion schedule of 7 days for urgent tasks. The successful bidder will also provide after-sale support and ensure quality materials. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents including tax certificates, bank statements, audit reports, and performance certificates are complete and signed to avoid disqualification. Timely submission and compliance with the single stage-one envelope procedure on the EPADS platform is crucial for consideration.
