Pre-qualification for Repair and Maintenance Services of Vehicles, Buildings, Machinery, Furniture, and IT Equipment

The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and States and Frontier Regions invites pre-qualification applications from workshops, firms, and vendors registered with sales tax and income tax departments and listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR. The procurement is for repair and maintenance services covering official vehicles, office and other buildings, machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, as well as computer hardware, software, and IT equipment for the financial year 2026-2027. The firms must have their own offices or workshops located in Islamabad and possess relevant expertise and manpower. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance of official vehicles - Repair and maintenance of office and other buildings including electrical repairing work - Repair and maintenance of office machinery and equipment such as air conditioners, photocopiers, fax machines, electric fans, heaters, water dispensers, electric water coolers - Repair and maintenance of office furniture and fixtures - Repair and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and IT equipment including CPUs, printers, projectors, telephone exchanges, laptops, scanners - Purchase, petty purchase, and repair/maintenance of non-tender items up to Rs. 500,000 The scope includes physical verification of workshops/offices in Islamabad by the committee. Firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C3 for building electrical repair work and have at least six years of relevant experience. Affidavit on stamp paper worth Rs. 200/- confirming no blacklisting or disputes with government organizations is mandatory. Firms are required to install genuine parts, provide warranty on replaced items, return old spare parts after work completion, and be available for immediate work at odd hours if required. The bid security amounts vary by category, ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 500,000. Tender documents must be submitted physically before 11:00 hours on 11th August 2026 at Committee Room, 1st floor, 'R' Block, Ministry of KAGB and SAFRON, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your workshop or office is verifiably located in Islamabad and maintain all registration and tax documents ready for inspection to avoid disqualification during physical verification.
