Tender Description
The Local Government and Rural Development Department District Malakand invites sealed tenders through e-bidding via EPADS for the repair and maintenance of transformers in PK-24, Tehsil Dargai, District Malakand. This procurement is part of the scheme funded by Tobacco Cess in Tobacco-Growing Regions focusing on infrastructure upkeep.

The technical scope includes comprehensive repair and maintenance work on transformers located in the specified constituency. Contractors must be registered with PEC and enlisted with the C&W Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the financial year 2026-27. Eligibility requires registration with the Electricity, Energy & Power Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, holding Class-E (EE04 & EE05) licenses, and workshop registration with PESCO. A one-year warranty on the work is mandatory as per PESCO SOP.
Bidding documents are downloadable from the official EPADS website www.portalkp.eprocure.gov.pk after NIT publication. Bids must be submitted electronically by 30th September 2026 at 10:30 AM, with opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bid securities must be prepared post-NIT publication and delivered via courier to the office of Assistant Director (Sr.) LG&RDD Malakand at Batkhela before bid closing. Online clarifications close on 24th September 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Bids quoting more than 20% below estimated cost require detailed rate analysis uploaded on EPADS. Bids remain valid for 90 days. Taxes will be recovered as per government directives. Prospective bidders must register on EPADS to obtain login credentials. Work orders depend on fund availability and will specify completion timelines.
