Repair/Maintenance of Government Vehicles and Supply of Stationery Items for Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan

The Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders from Government Firms, Dealers, Suppliers, and Contractors for the supply of stationery items and repair/maintenance of government vehicles for the Financial Year 2026-2027. This corrigendum extends the tender opening dates due to a holiday on 26th August 2026. Items being procured: - Repair/Maintenance of Government Vehicles/Motorcycles - Stationery Items The scope includes repair and maintenance services for transport vehicles and motorcycles, as well as the supply of stationery items for the department's office. Contractors and suppliers must have a complete setup including their own workshop for vehicle repairs and a shop for stationery items, supported by documentary evidence. Adequate stock of spare parts must be maintained in Gilgit Town. Eligibility criteria require registration with FBR and ATL, a bank statement showing transactions of Rs. 7,000,000 for vehicle repair and Rs. 5,000,000 for stationery items over the last year, five years of relevant work experience, firm registration certificate/Form-C, Non-Black Listed Affidavit, CNIC of the owner, and Treasury Challan TR-6 issued by DDO of Secretary Food GB. The bid security in the form of a refundable call deposit must be attached with the tender documents. The committee reserves the right to visit the bidder's shop and workshop to verify technical staff and facilities. The tender will be opened on 1st September 2026 at the Food Department office, New Civil Secretariat Jutial Gilgit. Bids must be submitted in a single envelope containing separate financial and technical proposals. The tender must be clearly marked with the name in bold letters on the sealed envelope. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents and call deposits are complete and attached, as incomplete or ambiguous tenders will be rejected. Also, maintaining a local workshop and stock of spare parts in Gilgit Town is crucial for eligibility.
