Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) for repair and maintenance of water supply pumps, motors, and tanks. The scope covers essential upkeep and restoration of critical water supply infrastructure at the Tarbela Dam Project, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability in power generation and water management.
The work involves technical servicing of pumps and motors, including mechanical and electrical components, as well as maintenance of storage tanks. Contractors must be prepared to address engineering challenges posed by the dam's location and the heavy-duty nature of the equipment. The site demands skilled workmanship to maintain uninterrupted water supply critical for hydroelectric power and irrigation.
Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council license in Category C-6 or above with sub code CE-10, and be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments. Compliance with PEC standards and FBR/ATL registration for the financial year 2025-26 is mandatory. Contractors should ensure their bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of PKR 30,000 in favor of the General Manager/Project, Tarbela Dam Project (WAPDA).
The submission deadline is set for 16th January 2026 at 11:00 AM via the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Bids will be opened online at 11:30 AM the same day in the office of Director C&P, Tarbela Dam Project. Manual bids will not be accepted. The physical address for correspondence is the Tarbela Dam Project office, District Haripur.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required documentation and bid security as per PPRA rules. Missing the specific stamp duty or incorrect bid security format often leads to disqualification, so double-check these details before submission.
