Repairing of 132/11.5 KV, 20/26MVA, Minel Make Power Transformer

The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites qualified contractors for the repairing of a 132/11.5 KV, 20/26MVA Minel make power transformer located at the 132KV Grid Station Gujrat-1 on Sargodha Road, Gujrat. This tender covers comprehensive transformer repair works including disassembly, replacement of insulation materials, gasket replacement, cleaning and washing of tank body and radiators, assembly of active parts, vapor phase drying, final assembly, oil filling and circulation, and replacement of damaged electrical components of motor drive units and outdoor control cabinets. The scope involves detailed technical tasks such as manufacturing new insulation materials, use of various oils and chemicals, cleaning and varnishing of core, and testing as per NTDC specifications. The work is to be completed within 90 days from commencement. Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category CE-10 and have relevant experience with DISCOs, supported by valid work orders and performance certificates from GEPCO. Contractors with more than five ongoing works or pending works in the last three years with GEPCO are not eligible. Tender security of Rs. 500,000 is required. Bidders should submit one original copy through e-bidding. The contract includes an 18-month warranty period from delivery or 12 months from installation, whichever is earlier.
