Tender Description
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Lahore invites bids for the repairing of Computer Numeric Control Grinding Machine at the Overhaul Workshop in Multan. This procurement is for the fiscal year 2026-27 and will be executed under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The scope of work involves detailed inspection, fault rectification, and repair of the grinding machine which is currently experiencing inconsistent axis movement and vibration issues. The contractor will inspect and repair components including the grinding spindle, guideways, bearings, lubrication system, v-belts, pulleys, and coupling. Bearings and coupling will be supplied by SNGPL if required. The job will be considered complete upon successful commissioning and verification of operating parameters to the satisfaction of the site engineer.

The technical scope includes disassembly, inspection for wear or damage, balancing of grinding wheel and spindle, replacement of faulty bearings, and correction of bed and table levels. The contractor must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and safety requirements. Eligibility criteria include valid Professional Tax, NTN, GST, and PRA certificates. Bidders must submit bids through the EPADS v2.0 portal and provide bid security of PKR 30,000 in the form of Pay Order, Call Deposit, or Demand Draft. The bid validity period is 90 days, and the contract completion time is 60 days from site handover.
The bid submission deadline is 18 September 2026 at 09:30 AM, with electronic bid opening at 10:00 AM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bidders are advised to visit the site for full understanding of the scope. The contract includes a 6-month maintenance period after completion. Payment terms specify 45 working days after submission of completion certificate and invoice. A retention of 10% will be held until satisfactory completion of maintenance.
