Tender Description
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites tenders under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure from engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council with the CE-04 code and enlisted with the Irrigation Department. The tender covers works on an item rate basis under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System for the period 1st July 2026 to 31 December 2026 for District Okara and Kasur.
Items being procured:
- Repairing, Maintaining and Painting of Bridges/Structures on B.S. Link-I & II Canals at Dhulliana Section in Rajowal Sub Division
- Filling Rain Cuts / Gharas in Adhen Section of Pattoki Sub Division
The scope includes repairing and painting of bridges and structures, and filling rain cuts in canal sections. Contractors must be registered with Punjab PPRA and Pakistan Engineering Council with specialization CE-04 (ii) and CE-04 (vii). Registration with Punjab Revenue Authority for the fiscal year 2026-27 is also mandatory. Earnest money/bid security must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Manual bids or manual bid securities will not be accepted.
Bids must be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System website by 08.10.2026 up to 11:30 AM. The bid opening will be held on 08.10.2026 at 12:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer B.S. Link Division Lahore. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount and adhere strictly to the approved construction schedule and PWD specifications.
This tender is a good opportunity for contractors with PEC CE-04 codes and experience in irrigation infrastructure. Ensure all documents including valid PEC registration, CNIC, PRA registration, and bid security are complete and uploaded on time. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected.
