Replacement of 04 Inch Dia Piping Sections of PMG Return Line at PSO Zot

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the Replacement of 04 Inch Diameter Piping Sections of PMG Return Line at PSO Zot located at Zulfiqarabad Oil Terminal, Port Qasim, Karachi. This procurement involves specialized pipeline maintenance and replacement services to ensure operational safety and efficiency at the terminal. Items being procured: - Cutting of 04 inch diameter pipeline sections using pneumatically operated cold cutting tools - Degassing and nitrogen purging of 04 inch diameter gasoline return line (240 meters length) - Bolting and unbolting of flanged pipe joints including supply of gaskets and stud bolts - Welding of 04 inch diameter carbon steel pipes and fittings as per ASME B 31.3 and API 1104 standards - Installation of 04 inch diameter gate valve (valve supplied by PSO) - Mechanical cleaning and surface preparation of piping external surfaces (120 m2) - Application of coating system including epoxy primer base coats and polyurethane top coat as per PSO approved specifications The scope requires strict adherence to PSO's HSE protocols, including provision of all necessary equipment such as air compressors, nitrogen cylinders, welding and coating materials, and competent personnel. The contractor is responsible for all labor, tools, transportation, and utilities at site. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion and verification by the PSO Engineer. Bidders must ensure compliance with safety standards and provide protective equipment for workers. The contract duration is 20 days from issuance of Purchase Order. Liquidated damages of 0.1% per day up to 10% of PO value apply for delays. The contractor is liable for any damages to PSO or government property during execution.
