Replacement of OPGW Span on 220kV Sheikhupura-Ravi Transmission Line

The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) invites electronic bids for the Replacement of OPGW Span on 220kV Sheikhupura-Ravi Transmission Line in Lahore, Punjab. This procurement is for civil and electrical works including transportation, installation, dismantling, testing and commissioning of OPGW cable and allied hardware from Tower No. 14A to 14B. Items being procured: - Transportation & installation of OPGW including drop down lengths for joint boxes at towers with allied hardware assemblies, joint box accessories, dampers - Installation of new joint boxes OPGW to OPGW (A-Type) with testing of all 24 fibers - Dismantling of existing OPGW from 220kV CCT with allied hardware including shifting and proper stacking at designated NGC warehouse - Testing and commissioning of OPGW (end to end) as per technical specifications The scope includes detailed survey, soil investigation, foundation construction, tower erection, stringing, and all associated works as per FIDIC Red Book conditions. The contractor must be PEC licensed, financially sound, and experienced in similar transmission line works. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 30 September 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bid security of 5% of quoted bid price is required in original form. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a single stage one envelope basis. The contract duration is 10 days from commencement. The contractor is responsible for all site safety, insurance, and compliance with specifications. A practical tip for bidders: ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit all required documents including bid security in original to avoid disqualification.
