Restoration and Reconstruction of Forebay Access Road and Power Channel at 850 KW HPS Parri Gilgit

The Water and Power Department Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders for the restoration and reconstruction works at the 850 KW Hydropower Station Parri in Gilgit. The works include restoration of the forebay access road and reconstruction of the damaged forebay, wasteway, and power channel. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for 2025-2026 and hold renewal receipts from the Water and Power Department Gilgit-Baltistan. Specialization codes CE-04(iv), CE-04(vii), and CE-11(i) are mandatory. Experience in similar hydraulic works executed within the last five years is required, with at least one project having 80% of the estimated cost. No sick or blacklisted firms will be entertained. Earnest money of 2% of the bid value is mandatory, and bids quoting below 25% of the engineer’s estimate will be rejected. The tender documents can be purchased from the Executive Engineer’s office on payment of Rs. 8,000 during office hours. The last date for submission is 16th July 2026 at 12:00 PM sharp, with opening at 1:00 PM the same day.
