Revamping of Library Space at IBA Main Campus Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) invites electronic bids on SPPRA EPADS from active taxpayers registered with SPPRA and relevant tax authorities for the revamping of the library space at IBA Main Campus, Karachi. This procurement is for comprehensive interior finishing works including dismantling of existing finishes, painting, reception and cladding works, glazing, gypsum board ceiling, cabinetry, electrical installations, and other related works as per detailed Bill of Quantities and drawings. Items being procured: - Dismantling/removing existing interior finishes including cabinetry and reception counter - Matt enamel paint application on internal walls - M.S. perforated sheet cladding with yellow powder coated finish - Dupont Corian cladding and boxing for reception counters - Acrylic finish cladding/strip for reception - Frameless glass doors and fixed glazing with aluminum frames - Gypsum board ceiling with paint finish - Laminated MDF board open shelving - Sliding metal ladder for book shelving - Signages as per drawings - Low height wooden partition wall at reception back - Reception table and under counter units - Reception area cabinetry - Electrical works including installation of popup multi switch boxes, single socket boxes, and LED linear lights The technical scope includes use of approved materials such as clear float glass, gypsum board, MDF board, laminate boards, and paint from reputed manufacturers. The contractor must ensure structural stability, proper finishing, and compliance with specifications. A mandatory site visit is scheduled on October 2, 2026 at 11 AM at IBA Main Campus. Eligibility criteria include PEC Category C-6 or above, minimum three similar projects of Rs. 6 million or above in last 3 years, valid FBR and SRB registration, NTN, and satisfactory performance record. Bid security of Rs. 118,330 in the form of pay order or demand draft in favor of IBA Karachi is required. Bids must be submitted electronically via SPPRA EPADS portal and original bid security along with signed bid documents must be delivered to the Office of Head of Procurement, Fauji Foundation Building, IBA Main Campus, Karachi before the deadline. Bids will be opened on October 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM in presence of bidders' representatives. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed Bill of Quantities, drawings, and specifications. Ensure timely submission and compliance with all requirements to avoid disqualification. The tender fee is Rs. 3,000 non-refundable. The contract completion period is 60 days from commencement.
