Tender Description
The Communication and Works Department Government of Punjab, 5th Buildings Division Lahore, is procuring revamping and upgradation works for the halls and art gallery of the Lahore Art Council (Alhamra). This project is located in Lahore and involves significant civil and building maintenance works including structural improvements and aesthetic enhancements to the art gallery and associated halls.
The technical scope requires contractors enlisted and renewed with PEC for the current financial year in category C4 or above, holding specialized codes CE10 and EE04. The contractor must produce the original PEC license with the relevant specialization codes. The procurement will be conducted through the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) portal, ensuring transparency and compliance with PPRA rules. Earnest money amounting to 5% of the estimated DNIT cost must be submitted in the form of CDR, bank draft, or cashier’s cheque from a scheduled bank.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS and comply with all tender document requirements available on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. The tender documents must be submitted online by the deadline of 22nd July 2026 at 12:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The tender opening will be conducted in the office of the Commissioner Lahore Division in the presence of authorized representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS and to carefully prepare the earnest money instrument as per instructions. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Also, bidders should verify their PEC specialization codes and ensure all documentation is complete to avoid disqualification.
