Rights to Collect Toll Tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 324 Days

The Irrigation Department Multan Zone invites sealed bids for the award of contract for the rights to collect toll tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for a period of 324 days starting from 11-08-2026 to 30-06-2027. This contract involves toll collection rights and the successful bidder will be responsible for the provision, operation, and maintenance of all facilities related to toll collection at the site. Items being procured: - Rights to collect toll tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 324 days The technical scope includes managing toll tax collection as per the approved schedule notified by the Government. The bidder must furnish earnest money in the shape of CDR at 5% of the reserve price. The revised reserve price for the year 2026-27 is Rs. 28,658,439. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a bank guarantee equal to 10% of the total bid amount after sanction from the competent authority. All expenses related to operation, maintenance, and taxes will be borne by the lessee. The bidder must sign and initial all pages of the tender documents and no conditional bids will be entertained. Eligibility criteria include submission of attested CNIC copy, specimen signature, and power of attorney if applicable. The bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi, during office hours up to 07-08-2026. Sealed bids must be submitted by 08-08-2026 at 12:00 PM and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder will be responsible for depositing income tax at 10% of the bid price and all other taxes as per government schedule. The highest bid acceptance rests with the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone. In case of government enhancement of toll tax rates, the reserve price will be increased accordingly. No compensation claims will be entertained for any loss due to road or bridge closure.
