Tender Description
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Islamabad is procuring a Robotic Tape Library Solution for its Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA) infrastructure. This turnkey procurement involves supply, installation, and commissioning of two Robotic Tape Libraries (RTL) at NADRA's Primary and Disaster Recovery sites. The solution must be fully compatible with Oracle ZDLRA and Oracle Secure Backup software, including hardware-based media encryption and all necessary licenses. The scope includes supply of LTO-9 Fibre Channel tape drives, media cartridges, cleaning cartridges, and end-to-end Fibre Channel cabling with installation and testing. The project timeline is twelve weeks from contract signing, with ten weeks for hardware delivery and two weeks for installation and commissioning.
Eligibility criteria are stringent, requiring valid NTN, GST registration, active FBR ATL status, and no blacklisting. Bidders must be OEMs or authorized partners with valid authorization letters. Experience with at least three comparable installations in Pakistan within the last five years is mandatory. The bidder must have qualified technical staff and local support presence in Islamabad and Lahore.
The tender requires submission of technical and financial bids electronically via EPADS by 2nd July 2026 at 11:00 am. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 23rd June 2026 at NADRA HQ Islamabad. Earnest Money in the form of bid security amounting to Rs. 600,000 is required. Payment terms include 50% payment after delivery and acceptance, and 50% after final acceptance testing. A performance security of 5% of contract value valid for three years is mandatory.
