Establishment of Roof Top Cafe at NUMS KHINAMS Chak Shahzad Islamabad

The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) invites bids for the establishment of a Roof Top Cafe at its KHINAMS Campus located in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically managed by the NUMS Procurement Directorate based in Rawalpindi. The project involves civil construction works including PCC footing for counters and kitchen walls, installation of marble counter tops, front cladding with Chakwal stone, and a roof structure made of MS pipe frames and metal sheets. Electrical works include installation of multiple switch boards and wall light holders. Plumbing works consist of UPVC water supply pipes to the kitchen. Additionally, the project includes furnishing with umbrellas, outdoor chairs and tables, a live wall with planter pouches, a stage deck, and landscaping with various plants such as bamboos, palms, roses, and hanging flowers. Decorative bulb rope lighting and bamboo installations on the roof are also part of the scope. Eligible bidders must be registered contractors, firms, or suppliers with valid registration and tax documentation including FBR and ATL compliance. Joint ventures are allowed with a nominated lead member. A valid bank account is required for payment processing. Earnest money in the form of a 2% CDR or pay order is mandatory with bids. The technical and financial bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes following the PPRA single stage two envelope procedure. Bids must be delivered to the Procurement Directorate at NUMS ATR Building near APS Girls Campus, Humayoun Road, Kachehri Chowk, Rawalpindi before the deadline of 1st July 2026 at 10:00 AM. Late submissions or incomplete bids will be rejected. Bidders are advised to visit the site for physical inspection and verification of dimensions and scope to avoid discrepancies. The bid opening will be held publicly on the same day at 10:30 AM in the Conference Room of NUMS ATR Building. Only authorized representatives with full knowledge of the bid details may attend. Payment will be made after satisfactory completion and submission of all required documents. No advance payments will be made. The bid validity period is 120 days.
