Running of Mini Mart at NED Staff Colony, Main Campus on Rental Basis after Establishment

NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi invites bids through EPADS for the running of a Mini Mart at NED Staff Colony, Main Campus on a rental basis after establishment. This contract is for a period of ten years and requires the successful bidder to establish the Mini Mart at their own cost, which will be recovered and adjusted against the monthly rent payable to the University. The construction and setup must be completed within two months, during which no rent will be charged. The Mini Mart staff must wear neat uniforms and badges, and the bidder must provide a list of staff with attested CNIC copies to the Registrar's office. The Mini Mart must maintain a clean environment free from advertising or promotional displays of inappropriate items. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable laws including EOBI, SESSI, and minimum wage regulations, and is responsible for all utility payments. Walk-in customers from outside the premises are not allowed. Eligibility criteria include registration with FBR and SRB with active taxpayer status, valid Professional Tax Certificate from Government of Sindh, at least three years of relevant experience with documentary evidence, annual financial statements for the last three years, and an average annual turnover of not less than Rs 50 million. An affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no litigation, blacklisting, or corrupt practices is required. A bid security of Rs 0.5 million must be furnished as per SPPRA rules.
