Tender Description
This tender invites bids from firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for specialized electrical works in Multan under the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO). The scope covers safe handling, transportation, shifting, and erection of HTLT spun poles of various sizes along with providing PCC foundations for high-tension line structures across multiple tehsils in the Multan region.
The works involve careful logistics and engineering precision to manage the heavy and sensitive HTLT poles, ensuring their safe transit and installation at designated sites. The project demands adherence to technical specifications and quality standards to maintain the integrity of the power infrastructure. The sites span across tehsils including Jam Pur, Rajan Pur, Rojhan, Kot Chutta, and others, requiring coordination and compliance with local conditions and safety protocols.
Bidders must hold valid PEC registration with specialization codes EE-04, EE-05, and CE-10, and demonstrate satisfactory past performance with MEPCO or similar projects. Compliance with FBR/ATL requirements for the financial year 2025-26 is mandatory. Tender submissions require an original bid security of 6% of the quoted amount in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) without validity limits, payable to the Project Director Construction MEPCO, Multan.
The submission deadline is set for 13th January 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled at 2:30 PM the same day at MEPCO’s office on Khanewal Road, Multan. Bidders must submit sealed bids electronically through the PPRA EPADS portal, ensuring all documentation and bid securities are in order.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender documents on the EPADS portal for any updates or amendments and ensure the bid security format strictly follows the prescribed guidelines to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the technical bid thoroughly to meet all PEC and MEPCO requirements before submission.
