Sale of Unserviceable Power Transformers at Grid Stations

Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites bids for the sale of unserviceable power transformers located at various 132kV grid stations including Moro, Faridabad, Naushero Feroze, and Padidan under the SS&T Division Dadu. This procurement is specifically managed by the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU SEPCO Sukkur. The transformers are offered on an 'as is where is' basis and bidders must quote for the complete tender to be considered. Interested firms can inspect the materials from 16-04-2026 to 03-05-2026 during office hours at the designated grid stations. The scope includes sale and disposal of old scrap power transformers with detailed terms and conditions available on the E-PADS PPRA portal. Bidders must be registered taxpayers with valid CNIC, NTN, and if available STRN. Earnest Money in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order amounting to Pak Rs. 7,814,300/- is required, valid for 120 days from tender opening. The bid security must be submitted in the name of Chief Engineer (Dev.) PMU SEPCO Sukkur and uploaded on E-PADS. Bids submitted other than via E-PADS will be rejected. The tender will be opened on 30-06-2026 at 11:30 Hrs in the presence of bidders' representatives. The successful bidder will be responsible for lifting the awarded items within 21 working days from the release order date. Delays will incur rental charges. Compliance with local laws, safety, PPE usage, and environmental guidelines is mandatory. SEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. Eligible bidders should have experience in handling scrap disposal and must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government or semi-government organization. The bid validity is 90 calendar days from the date of opening.
