Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a complete Salt Block Cutter with Trolley System at its Salt Mines located in Warcha, Punjab. This procurement is specifically for a heavy-duty salt cutter machine including a trolley system, cutting blades, water shower, 20 HP electric motor, control panel with starter and breakers, power cables, safety guards, and all necessary accessories for full operation and commissioning.
The technical scope requires the selected bidder to ensure the equipment is new, genuine, fully operational, and compliant with high engineering standards. The bidder must also provide onsite installation, testing, commissioning, and user training. The site visit is recommended for bidders to assess installation and commissioning conditions at Warcha. All wiring and materials for energizing the load must be supplied by the contractor, with proper conduits and cable trays.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), and have relevant experience of at least three years in similar supply contracts. Proof of experience and work orders must be attached. Financial soundness and no litigation status with PMDC are mandatory. The bid security is PKR 100,000 in the form of demand draft or pay order in favor of PMDC.
The tender submission deadline is **11 May 2026 at 11:00 AM** via EPADS, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at PMDC Head Office, Islamabad. Original bid security must be submitted before the online deadline. The delivery and completion period is within 12-14 weeks after supply order issuance, with warranty of minimum one year.
