The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) invites Expressions of Interest for the selection of a Financial Management Specialist (FMS) under the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) Component-II, aimed at strengthening Hydromet and Climate Services across Pakistan. This consultancy opportunity is based in Saidpur, Islamabad, and is part of a World Bank financed initiative to modernize hydrometeorological services nationwide.
Items being procured:
- Financial Management Specialist consultancy services
The scope of work includes managing financial aspects of large international, national, and subnational projects related to hydromet services. The consultant will be engaged full-time on a contract basis at the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of PMD. The role demands professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or ACMA from a recognized institution, along with at least ten years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with prior exposure to similar projects and the specific terms of reference outlined by the World Bank procurement regulations.
Interested consultants must submit a letter of Expression of Interest demonstrating their skills and experience, along with a detailed, signed Curriculum Vitae highlighting qualifications and references.
