Selection of Vendors for Emergency Local Purchase of Medicines, Surgical Disposables, and Non-Drug Items for THQ Hospitals Swat

The District Health Officer, Swat invites sealed electronic bids from eligible, registered, and experienced firms for the selection of vendors for Emergency Local Purchase (E-LP) of Medicines, Surgical Disposables (SDs), and Non-Drug Items (NDIs) for the following THQ Hospitals in District Swat for the Financial Year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Medicines - Surgical Disposables (SDs) - Non-Drug Items (NDIs) The procurement covers four THQ Hospitals: THQ Hospital Madyan, THQ Hospital Kabal, THQ Hospital Khwazakhela, and THQ Hospital Barikot, all located in Swat. Each hospital requires a separate vendor for the supply of these items under emergency local purchase procedures. Bidders must submit electronic bids via the KP-PPRA e-PADS portal by 10:30 AM on the respective tender dates, with technical bids opening at 11:00 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the respective THQ Hospital. A bid security of Rs. 120,000/- is required for each tender, payable via Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the District Health Officer, Swat. Eligibility criteria include a valid Drug Sale License under KP Drug Rules 1982 (as amended), registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), inclusion on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), and valid registration on the KP-PPRA e-PADS portal. The contract is initially valid for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance. Pre-bid meetings will be held on 18-11-2026 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Rooms of the District Health Officer, Gulkada Mingora Swat. The successful bidder must ensure availability of a duly licensed pharmacy/medical store near the main gate of the respective THQ Hospital throughout the contract period to ensure timely provision of medicines. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed bidding documents available on the KP-PPRA e-PADS portal or from the Administration Block of the respective THQ Hospital during office hours. Failure to comply with mandatory requirements will result in bid rejection. The District Health Officer, Swat reserves the right to reject any or all bids under Clause 47 of the KPRA Procurement Rules.
