Shifting, Safe Handling & Erection of HT/LT Steel Structures with Foundation & Earthing Works at MEPCO Field Store Rahim Yar Khan

This tender notice is issued by the Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) for outsourced services involving the shifting, safe handling, and erection of HT/LT steel structures including foundation and earthing works at the MEPCO Field Store in Rahim Yar Khan. The scope of work includes loading of HT/LT steel structures from the MEPCO Field Store Rahim Yar Khan, safe handling and transportation to the site of work, erection of HT/LT steel structures, and foundation works including excavation, RCC concreting (1:2:4), curing, backfilling, and compaction using Civil Work's material supplied by the contractor. Earthing installation including transportation, welding, and earth resistance testing as per WAPDA SIDs/drawings will be carried out by MEPCO. The works are divided into four divisions/groups: OP Division R.Y. Khan (Group-A), OP Division Khanuppur (Group-B), OP Division Liaqatpur (Group-C), and OP Division Sadiqabad (Group-D). Each division's tender amount including all taxes is Rs. 2.0 Million. The bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with valid registration for Financial Year 2026-27 in relevant categories/specializations including CE-10, EE-04, and EE-05. Required documents must be submitted in original or with duly attested copies including CNIC of Contractor/Managing Partner/Director of the firm. Bid submission is electronic through the PPRA EPADS v2.0 portal in the office of the Superintending Engineer (OP) MEPCO Circle Rahim Yar Khan. The bid submission deadline is 20 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM. A bid security equivalent to 3% of the quoted bid amount must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan or a pay order/bank draft guaranteed by a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Performance security equivalent to 5% of the contract value in the shape of CDR must be furnished within 15 days of acceptance of the contract. Other requirements include submission of income tax returns for the last two financial years, valid PRA registration certificate where applicable, PEC registration certificate, and other relevant documents. The procuring agency reserves the right to cancel the tendering process at any stage before bid opening without assigning any reason.
