Tender Description
The National Textile University (DTT) Faisalabad invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of a Single Fiber Strength Tester under Tender Notice # H-26/08-01 serial # 1 with reference P87433. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform using the Single Stage-Two Envelope Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- Single Fiber Strength Tester (Quantity: 1 Nos.)
The equipment must comply with ASTM D3822 and ISO 5079 standards, featuring a load capacity of 100 cN, load resolution of 0.1 cN, extension range 0-50 mm, and a simple digital LCD display. It includes pneumatic or manual clamps, USB data output, and safety features such as an emergency stop button. Delivery and installation will be at National Textile University premises.
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by Friday, August 28, 2026, 04:30 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft must be submitted physically before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 05:00 PM.
