Tender Description
Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS) invites bids electronically through the EPADS portal for the procurement of Bio-Medical Equipment and Accessories for Ambulances under a framework contract for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This procurement is based in Karachi, Sindh, and aims to equip ambulances with advanced medical devices to ensure timely and effective emergency care.
Items being procured include:
- Multiparameter patient monitors (4 sets)
- Portable electric suction machines (4 pcs)
- Automated External Defibrillators (2 pcs)
- Fingertip pulse oximeters (200 pcs)
- Full-length spine boards with adjustable head immobilizers (30 pcs)
- Portable 24 cu ft and 48 cu ft medical oxygen cylinders (150 pcs each)
- Ventilator analyzer (1 pc)
- AED simulator (1 pc)
- Portable oxygen concentrators (2 pcs)
- Oxygen regulators, BP cuffs (adult, child, neonatal), suction machine filters, manual BP cuffs, SPO2 probes, AED batteries, oxygen sensors, soldering irons, and various other medical accessories and consumables as detailed in the tender documents.
The technical scope requires equipment compliant with international standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO certifications, suitable for ambulance and emergency use. Bidders must be registered with federal/provincial tax authorities, listed on the FBR Active Taxpayers List, and meet eligibility criteria including non-blacklisting and financial/technical capability.
Key dates include a bid submission deadline of Monday, 26th October 2026 at 11:30 AM via the EPADS portal. Tender fee is Rs. 3,000 payable via Pay Order or Demand Draft. Bid security of Rs. 1,023,968 is required. Bids must be valid for 90 days. Submission of physical samples for consumables is mandatory for evaluation and approval.
Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 PM at the SIEHS office located at 43-15/K, Block 6, PECHS, Karachi. Bidders are advised to monitor the EPADS portal for any amendments. Late or conditional bids, or those without prescribed bid security, will be rejected.
