Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms in Islamabad to supply and install a comprehensive solar power system for multiple government offices under the Ministry of Energy. The project focuses on deploying high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, inverters, and battery storage units to ensure sustainable energy solutions for public sector buildings in the capital city.
The scope includes site assessment, procurement of solar modules, mounting structures, electrical wiring, and commissioning. The installation sites are spread across Islamabad, requiring careful planning to address urban infrastructure constraints and ensure optimal solar exposure. The engineering challenges involve integrating the system with existing electrical grids and ensuring compliance with local safety standards.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration in the relevant category and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare all technical and financial documentation meticulously, including Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender requirements.
The submission deadline is set for the 24th of June 2024, with bid opening scheduled at 10:00 AM on the same day. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Ministry of Energy's procurement office located at Constitution Avenue, Islamabad.
Pro-Tip: Ensure to verify the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security details, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification.
