Construction and Solarization of Irrigation Tube Wells in Kurram District and Merged Areas (ADP No. 2740/250066 and PDWP/16/6/22)

The Irrigation Division District Kurram, under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites eligible and PEC-registered contractors to participate in the e-bidding process for the construction and solarization of new and existing irrigation tube wells across Upper, Central, and Lower Kurram, as well as merged districts. This initiative is part of ADP No. 2740/250066 (2026-27) and PDWP/16/6/22, aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and water management through sustainable energy solutions. Items being procured: - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Shenai Sehra in Upper Kurram (4.104 M) - Solarization of Existing Tube Well at Dandar Road Parachinar City in Upper Kurram (4.124 M) - Solarization of Existing Tube Well at Spin Khel Banda in Upper Kurram (3.210 M) - Solarization of Existing Tube Well at Tindo in Central Kurram (3.591 M) - Solarization of Existing Tube Well at Gul Zar Kali Speen Khel Jumaat in Central Kurram (3.514 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Mali Kali Sehra in Upper Kurram (5.926 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Tooti Sehra Dandar in Upper Kurram (6.134 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Baba Wesha Yousaf Khel Sehra, Kirman village Upper Kurram (6.217 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Munda in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Alizai in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Bilyamin in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Kass-Bilyamin in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Ahmadi Shama in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Baggan in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Mahoora in Lower Kurram (6.078 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Tindo in Central Kurram (6.484 M) - Construction of new Solar Tube Well at Badama in Central Kurram (6.410 M) The technical scope covers both the installation of new solar-powered tube wells and the conversion of existing tube wells to solar energy, ensuring reliable irrigation for local agriculture. All works require contractors to hold a valid PEC license in category C-6 & above with CE-04, and to be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and on the active tax payer list of FBR. Earnest Money at 2% of the estimated cost and a non-refundable tender entry fee (0.03% of estimated cost) via CDR are mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPAD System by 23.09.2026, 12:00 Noon. The technical proposals will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 09.09.2026. Bid validity is 120 days. All documents, including technical and financial proposals, must be uploaded as per instructions in the solicitation documents, which are available at www.irrigation.gkp.pk and kppra.gov.pk. A practical tip: Ensure all affidavits, CDRs, and PEC documents are uploaded in the correct format on EPADS and that the hard copies reach the office before the deadline to avoid non-responsiveness.
