Tender Description
Municipal Corporation Gujrat invites tenders from firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and also registered on EP-Punjab as per Government of Punjab directions for the financial year 2025-26. The procurement is for the establishment of a Road Maintenance Squad including Asphalt Plant and Machinery to support road maintenance activities in Gujrat city.
Items being procured:
- Establishment of Road Maintenance Squad, MC Gujrat (with Asphalt Plant & Machinery)
The scope includes provision and setup of all necessary machinery and equipment for effective road maintenance operations. Bidders must be registered with PEC and EP-Punjab and comply with all government regulations. The bidding will follow a single stage single envelope procedure. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost is required as bid security. The lowest bidder offering 5% or more below the estimated cost will be required to deposit additional performance security in the form of CDR.
Bidding documents can be obtained and bids submitted exclusively through the EP-Punjab online portal. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted by 13 October 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the office of the Municipal Officer (Infrastructure) Municipal Corporation Gujrat. Bidders or their representatives are encouraged to attend the bid opening. In case the bid opening date falls on an official holiday, the next working day will be considered.
All applicable taxes must be paid by the contractor as per Government of Punjab rules. Current PPRA rules will be strictly enforced. For detailed scope and conditions, interested bidders may contact the Municipal Officer (Infrastructure) Municipal Corporation Gujrat during office hours.
