Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites electronic bids for the sorting, grinding, and packing of special powder salt at its Salt Mines located in Warcha, District Khushab. This procurement is specifically for the operation of one China Chakki/Disk Mill for the production of special powder salt. The scope includes grinding good quality pink salt, packing it in bags with liners, sorting the salt to depot/yard, special packing in 25 Kg and 50 Kg bags for export, and transportation of the salt from the grinding mill to the packing place within 1.5 KM including loading and unloading.
The contract duration is one year with the possibility of extension based on mutual consent and price index adjustments. The estimated quantity is 7,500 MT per year for grinding and sorting. The tender requires bidders to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) with active taxpayer status. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years experience operating grinding plants and submit relevant experience certificates and work orders.
