Tender for Sorting & Loading for Piece Grade Salt at PMDC Salt Mines Warcha

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the Sorting & Loading of Piece Grade Salt at PMDC Salt Mines Warcha, District Khushab, Punjab. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The contract is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with an expected commencement date of October 19, 2026. Items being procured: - Sorting and Loading of Piece Grade Salt, annual target 20,000 MT, monthly 1,667 MT, daily 67 MT The piece grade salt to be sorted and loaded has a pink to reddish color, weighs 15kg and above, with a homogeneous look and approximately regular geometry. The work involves sorting and loading into trolleys at the PMDC Salt Mines Warcha site. The contractor must maintain separate heaps of all grades of good quality salt properly marked by PMDC. Sorted salt will be weighed on PMDC weighbridge in presence of representatives. Quality checkers have the right to reject any salt not meeting prescribed criteria. Payment will be made against the quantity sorted and transported to the designated place. Eligibility criteria include prior experience with similar services, registration with tax authorities, sound financial health, and no litigation or conflict of interest with PMDC. Bidders must submit bid security of Rs. 200,000 in the form of Pay Order/Demand Draft/CDR/Banker's Cheque. The contract duration is one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance. Penalties apply for failure to meet targets or contractual obligations. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by September 30, 2026, 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
