Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the Special Maintenance and Repair of Road from Bhurnd Naushahro Feroze Mithiani Road to Village Baig Mohammad Panhwar and Point Nandha Dangraj via Village Khair Mohammad Bohio Road, covering a stretch of 8.00 kilometers in Naushahro Feroze, Sindh under the Provincial Highway Division. The project involves comprehensive road repair works including earthworks, base course preparation, surface dressing, asphalt concrete laying, and installation of road safety features such as pavement markings and reflectorized road studs. The scope demands high-quality materials and adherence to engineering standards to ensure durability and safety of the road infrastructure.
The work requires contractors to manage site conditions effectively, including proper compaction of earthworks and precise application of bituminous layers. The project site in Naushahro Feroze presents typical regional challenges such as soil variability and climatic conditions that must be addressed through sound engineering practices. Contractors must be prepared to mobilize equipment and materials efficiently and comply with the technical specifications outlined in the bidding documents.
Bidders must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in category C-4 or above and maintain active registration with the Federal Board of Revenue and Sindh Revenue Board. Compliance with PEC and FBR requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is mandatory. The contractor should demonstrate financial capability with an average annual turnover not less than the estimated cost and provide bank statements showing at least 20% of the estimated cost as balance. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required in the form of Deposit at Call, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Bank Guarantee.
The submission deadline is **06-04-2026 13:30:00**, with bid opening scheduled for **06-04-2026 14:00:00** at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highway Division Naushahro Feroze, located at Scarp Colony Naushahro Feroze. Tender documents are available upon written request with payment of the non-refundable fee.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all bid documents are complete and submitted in both electronic and hard copy formats before the deadline. Pay special attention to the submission of the 5% bid security and the affidavit on judicial stamp paper confirming non-involvement in criminal activities and non-blacklisting, as these are common grounds for bid rejection.
