Special Repair Works for IXR Office and HTXR Office Buildings Karachi

Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Karachi invites experienced firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to participate in the procurement of special repair works for railway office buildings in Karachi. Items being procured: - Special Repair to IXR office and Provision of Lighting & Welding Points at Port Qasim Sick Line - Special Repair to HTXR Office Building and Provision of Lighting and Welding points at MYF Sick Line Karachi Division The works involve specialized repair and electrical installations including lighting and welding points at designated railway office buildings and sick lines. The first work requires PEC registration category C-6 or above with specialization in CE-10 & EE-11(vi) and has an estimated cost of Rs. 15,681,399/- with a bid security of Rs. 313,628/- and a completion period of 70 days. The second work requires PEC registration category C-5 or above with specialization in CE-10 & EE-11(vi) and has an estimated cost of Rs. 39,490,006/- with a bid security of Rs. 789,800/- and a completion period of 90 days. Bidders must submit both technical and financial bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0 at www.epads.gov.pk. Original bid security in the form of Bank Guarantee/CDR/Pay Order in favor of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi, must be submitted physically before tender opening. One sealed hard copy of the bidding documents must also be submitted in the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer Karachi by 11:00 AM on 10-10-2026. Bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM. Firms must be registered with EPADS and PPRA to access tender documents. Bids without original bid security will not be entertained. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rule 33(1).
