Special Repair and Provision of Lighting & Welding Points at Pakistan Railways Offices Karachi

Pakistan Railways Divisional Office Karachi invites experienced firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to submit bids for specialized repair works. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure under Rule 36(b) of the PPRA Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - Special Repair to TXR office and Provision of Lighting & Welding Points at Port Qasim Sick Line - Special Repair to HTXR Office Building and Provision of Lighting and Welding points at MYP Sick Line Karachi Division The technical scope includes repair and installation of lighting and welding points at specified Pakistan Railways offices in Karachi. The work requires firms with PEC registration categories C-6 or above for the first lot and C-5 or above for the second, with specialization in CE-10 & EE-11(vi). The completion periods are 70 days and 90 days respectively. Bidders must submit both technical and financial bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) version 2.0. Original bid security in the form of Bank Guarantee/CDR/Pay Order favoring the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Karachi, must be physically submitted before tender opening. A photocopy of the bid security should be attached with the technical bid. One sealed hard copy of the bidding documents is also required in the tender box at the Divisional Accounts Officer's office. The deadline for submission is 11:00 AM on 10-10-2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Interested firms can download bidding documents from www.epads.gov.pk. Registration with EPADS and PPRA is mandatory. Bids without original bid security will not be entertained. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rule 33(1).
