Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of electrical goods including Stay Strip, G.I Thimble, Eye Nut, and Square Washer. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. The bidding documents and detailed specifications are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate.
Items being procured:
- Stay Strip (Quantity: 5361 units)
- G.I Thimble (Quantity: 4910 units)
- Eye Nut (Quantity: 2484 units)
- Square Washer (Quantity: 17459 units)
All items must conform to WAPDA/NTDC specifications (amended to date). Delivery is required within 120 days or earlier to MEPCO Regional Stores located in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G Khan. The prices quoted must be fixed, inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges, and GST, on a Free Consignee Store (FCS) basis. Bidders must provide bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee as specified. Performance security of 5% of the contract price will be required upon award.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, compliance with technical specifications, satisfactory past performance with MEPCO/DISCOs, and no blacklisting. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
