Tender Description
The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites electronic bids from registered and prequalified firms authorized by DISCOs, NGC, WAPDA, GENCOS, or PPMC for the supply of electrical equipment at the GEPCO Warehouse in Wazirabad. This procurement is planned under the FY 2026-27 budget and aims to cover the supply of high voltage electrical components essential for power distribution and transmission.
Items being procured:
- 145kV Line Current Transformers (CTs) 1200-600-300/5-5-5-5A, Quantity: 05 Nos
- 145kV Voltage Transformers ratio 132kV/3.110-/3 Pts Single Phase, Quantity: 08 Nos
The procurement will be conducted using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and related regulations. Bidders must submit bids accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Where Bid Security is not required, a Bid Security Declaration must be furnished. All bids must be submitted electronically via the EPADS v2.0 platform, ensuring the firm's name and a brief file description are included in the filename.
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 before the tender opening date. Bid validity must be at least 150 days, with Bid Guarantee valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity. GST and all applicable duties and taxes must be included in the bid price. Only type-tested equipment from designated laboratories as per NTDC Type Test Policy 2023 will be accepted. Bids without valid type test reports or incomplete documentation will be rejected.
For further details, bidders should regularly check the EPADS v2.0 website for clarifications and submit queries at least three days before the tender opening. Conditional bids, late submissions, or bids without required Bid Guarantee will be rejected. GEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
The submission deadline is within 7 days from the publish date, with bid opening dates as per the EPADS schedule. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals to avoid disqualification. The procurement is based in Gujranwala, Punjab, and all deliveries are to be made at the GEPCO Warehouse Wazirabad.
