Tender Description
The Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital, Nuclear Institute of Medicine and Radiotherapy (NIMRA) in Jamshoro, Sindh, is procuring Anti Cancer Chemotherapy Medicines for the financial year 2026-2027. This procurement is funded by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to support treatment of poor cancer patients. The tender invites reputed pharmaceutical companies, approved distributors, and importers to supply DRAP and preferably FDA approved chemotherapy drugs on F.O.R basis, ensuring free delivery at the hospital site.
The technical scope includes a comprehensive list of chemotherapy medicines such as Paclitaxel, Carboplatin, Oxaliplatin, Gemcitabine, Mitomicin, Irinotecan, and many others detailed in the tender documents. The medicines must have a minimum shelf life of 1.5 years and comply with the specifications and quality standards outlined. Suppliers are required to submit samples free of cost for each quoted product and provide all necessary certifications including DRAP licenses and GST/NTN registrations.
Eligibility criteria demand at least three years of relevant experience, valid FBR registration, and a sound financial turnover. Blacklisted firms or those without proper documentation will be disqualified. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000 and a refundable earnest money of 2% of the quoted value is mandatory. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 06-06-2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all samples and technical documents are submitted at least three days before the tender closing date to avoid disqualification. Also, bids must be complete, legible, and free from corrections or overwriting. The department emphasizes strict adherence to PPRA rules and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. This is a valuable opportunity for pharmaceutical suppliers to engage with a reputable public sector hospital and contribute to cancer patient care in Sindh.
