This procurement is specifically for the Rawalpindi region under the authority of the Directorate General Procurement (Army).
The technical scope covers supply of 1246 units of 12V 26 AH batteries, 580 units of 12V 100 AH batteries, 208 units of 12V 60 AH batteries, and various specialized medical equipment such as abdominal and fetal convex probes, pediatric and musculoskeletal probes, X-Ray tubes, ultrasound machine probes, blower modules, and maintenance kits with OEM references. The equipment must meet the specifications outlined in the tender documents and be suitable for use in medical and electrical applications within the Army's facilities.
Eligible bidders must provide a photocopy of CNIC of the Managing Director, NTN certificate, sales tax registration, DGDP registration letter, and proof of financial capability such as bank statements for the last year. Firms must also submit a treasury challan of PKR 2000 for tender documents and a certificate confirming they are not blacklisted or defaulters. Bid security of 5% of the quoted value up to a maximum of PKR 1 million is required as earnest money. Performance bank guarantee of 10% of the contract value must be furnished within 30 days of contract signing.
Tender documents must be submitted in three separate sealed envelopes containing the technical offer, earnest money draft, and commercial offer, all enclosed in one large envelope marked with the tender enquiry number. The deadline for submission is **12 May 2026** by 08:30 hours at the tender room reception of DGP (Army). The tenders will be opened the same day at 09:30 hours in the presence of firm representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all samples and technical data are submitted without any identification marks on the technical opening day to avoid immediate rejection. Also, strict adherence to the submission format and timely delivery of documents will enhance the chances of successful bidding. This tender offers a significant opportunity for firms with experience in supplying electrical and medical equipment to government and semi-government organizations in Pakistan.
