Supply of Cooked Food to Inmates of Juvenile and Women Prison and Correctional Facility at District Prison Sukkur for 2026-2027

The Sindh Prisons and Corrections Service invites bids for the supply of cooked food to the inmates of the Juvenile and Women Prison and Correctional Facility at District Prison Sukkur for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This procurement is specific to Sukkur and requires the provision of three meals daily including breakfast, mid-day, and evening meals, as well as special diets during Ramadan and on national and cultural occasions such as Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Pakistan Day, Independence Day, and Sindh Cultural Day. The technical scope includes the preparation and delivery of cooked food according to a detailed fortnightly diet menu and scale, with specifications for dietary articles provided. The contractor must ensure hygienic preparation, proper weight, quality, and taste of meals. The contractor is responsible for all cooking arrangements, including kitchen maintenance, utility bills, and supply of raw materials. Security clearance from provincial and federal intelligence agencies is mandatory for the contractor and their employees. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least three years of catering experience, valid registrations with FBR, Sindh Revenue Board, Sindh Food Authority, and active tax certificates. A bid security of Rs. 550,000 is required, along with submission of technical and financial proposals through the SPPRA E-Pads system. The technical proposal must score a minimum of 70 marks to qualify for financial bid opening. The tender submission deadline is 09 June 2026 at 09:30 AM, with electronic bid opening at 10:00 AM the same day. Bidders must submit original bid security and affidavit in the office of the Inspector General of Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service Karachi before the deadline. The contract performance security is 3% of the total contract value. The contract period is from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
