Supply of DG Sets for PSO Retail Outlets at Central Store Keamari

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets for its retail outlets at the Central Store located in Keamari, Karachi. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the power backup capacity at PSO retail terminals to ensure uninterrupted operations. Items being procured: - 15 units of 30 KVA DG Sets at PSO Central Store Keamari Terminal-B - 10 units of 60 KVA DG Sets at PSO Central Store Keamari Terminal-B - Testing and commissioning of 15 units of 30 KVA DG Sets - Testing and commissioning of 10 units of 60 KVA DG Sets The DG sets must meet detailed technical specifications including alternator output power, voltage, frequency, enclosure type, insulation class, and power factor. The engines are diesel 4-stroke with specified standby and prime power ratings, fuel consumption limits, and cooling systems. Control panels must include MCCB, meters for frequency, voltage, power, engine speed, alarms, and shutdown features for protection. The canopy should be weatherproof, soundproof with anti-vibration mounting and a built-in fuel tank for 8 to 12 hours operation. Warranty coverage is 18 months from supply or 12 months after commissioning, whichever is earlier. Additional requirements include factory test certificates, certificate of origin, operation and maintenance manuals, control wiring diagrams, and load testing witnessed by PSO-appointed third party inspectors. The supplier is responsible for arranging inspection at the factory and ensuring smooth operation during the warranty period. Packing must be shock proof with wooden frame and plywood. Earnest money of Rs. 1,000,000/- is required. Delivery schedule mandates 100% delivery within 90 days of purchase order issuance, with penalties for delays. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed. The supplier must provide technical details and catalogs with the bid. Bidders must be registered with FBR and have relevant experience. The submission deadline is 25th September 2026 by 2:15 PM at PSO offices in Karachi. Bids should be submitted in accordance with PSO instructions and include all required documentation and bid security.
