Supply of Dry, Fresh, Perishable and Non-Perishable Items to KS&EW Canteens

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites sealed bids under Single Stage – Two Envelope procedure from reputed and experienced Suppliers, Firms, Super Stores/Markets for the supply of dry, fresh, perishable and non-perishable items for KS&EW Canteens on a one-year contract basis, extendable for up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance and applicable rules. Items being procured: - Dry items - Fresh items - Perishable items - Non-perishable items The procurement is for the KS&EW canteens located in Karachi. Bidders must be experienced suppliers capable of providing a consistent supply of quality goods suitable for canteen use. The contract duration is initially one year with the possibility of extension up to three years based on performance. Interested parties may obtain bidding documents from the KS&EW Canteen Department Office between 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs on working days upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 in cash. Bids must be submitted in the office under signature by the closing date of 08-10-2026. Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 1530 hrs at the GM(Admin) office in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened later, with date and time intimated in due course. Financial bids of technically rejected bidders will be returned unopened. KS&EW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per rule-33 of PPRA rules 2004. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your technical bid clearly demonstrates your experience and capacity to supply all categories of items listed, as only technically qualified bids will proceed to financial evaluation. Timely submission and proper documentation are critical to avoid disqualification.
