Tender Description
Cadet College Petaro, located in District Jamshoro, Sindh, is procuring a comprehensive range of dry ration and food items to support its cadets' mess and associated facilities. This procurement covers a wide variety of essential foodstuffs including wheat flour, rice, pulses, spices, cooking oils, dairy products, beverages, and other consumables required for daily operations. The supply also extends to fodder and feed for the riding club, cattle, goats, and birds maintained by the college. The contract is issued by the Principal of Cadet College Petaro and invites bids from experienced and reputable firms registered with EPADS and relevant tax authorities.
The technical scope includes the delivery of specified quantities of high-quality food items such as atta, fine atta, maida, tea leaves, basmati rice, pulses, spices, ghee, edible oils, and various other consumables as per the detailed schedule of requirements. The supplies must be delivered to the cadets' mess at Cadet College Petaro, accompanied by proper delivery challans and goods received notes. The contract also stipulates the supply of fresh and quality fodder for the college's livestock and birds. All items must meet the prescribed specifications and standards, with defective or expired goods strictly rejected.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR, possess active tax filer status, and demonstrate relevant experience with government or reputable organizations over the last three years. Firms must provide NTN, sales tax registration, professional tax certificates, EOBI registration, and bank statements showing an average annual turnover of at least PKR 30 million. Affidavits declaring no litigation or blacklisting are mandatory. Bidders must submit a technical bid along with a financial bid through the EPADS platform.
The tender was published on 3rd June 2026, with the bid submission deadline set for 22nd June 2026 at 1100 hours. Bids will be opened the same day at 1200 hours in the College Conference Hall. Tender fees of PKR 2,500 and bid security of PKR 2,500,000 are required. Submission is strictly electronic via EPADS; no physical bids will be accepted. The contract is extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all mandatory documents are complete and uploaded correctly on EPADS before the deadline. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Also, bidders should carefully review the detailed schedule of requirements and ensure compliance with quality and delivery terms to avoid disqualification. Maintaining clear communication with the procuring agency and timely submission of bid security and tender fee receipts will enhance the chances of success.
