Supply of HT/LT Coils, LT Copper Wire and Repairing of LT Coils for 200 KVA Routine and Low Loss Damaged Distribution Transformers

The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) through its Transpower Workshop located at TPS Sheikh Manda Airport Road, Sadar, Quetta, is procuring HT/LT coils, LT copper wire, and repairing services for LT coils specifically for 200 KVA routine and low loss damaged distribution transformers. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to ensure the availability of quality coils and wires essential for transformer maintenance and repair in Quetta. The technical scope includes the supply of HT coils with 1.5 mm thickness weighing 22 Kg for routine transformers and 1.7-1.8 mm thickness weighing 32 Kg for low loss transformers. LT coils require 1.1 mm enameled wire weighing 14 Kg. The insulation paper thickness must be 15 mm wrapped thrice around the inner portion of HT coils. The supply also covers LT copper strips and wires, both routine and low loss types, and repairing of damaged LT copper coils with a turnaround time of 24 hours from order issuance. All materials must conform to WAPDA specifications and be inspected by the Transformer Reclamation Workshop QESCO Quetta representatives. Eligible bidders must possess PEC registration with code ME-5, renewed for 2025-26/2026-27, and be registered with QESCO. A 2% bid security in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order is mandatory. Bidders must not be blacklisted and should have relevant experience and FBR registration. The bid validity period is 120 days. Submission of bids is strictly online via EPADS v2.0, with the original bid security submitted physically to the TPS Sheikh Manda Airport Road office before the deadline.
