Supply, Installation, Commissioning & Testing of Addressable Fire Detection & Alarm System (AFDAS)

The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt) Ltd (Procurement) invites sealed bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, testing, and training of an Addressable Fire Detection & Alarm System (AFDAS) at its Karachi facility located at Jinnah Avenue Malir Halt. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance fire safety infrastructure with a modern, intelligent addressable fire alarm system. Items being procured: - Intelligent Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel with 8 signaling line circuits - Intelligent Addressable Repeater Panel - Intelligent Addressable Optical Smoke Detectors (300 units) - Intelligent Addressable Rate-of-Rise / Fixed Temperature Heat Detectors (10 units) - Intelligent Addressable Beam Smoke Detectors (12 units) - Intelligent Addressable Manual Call Points (56 units) - Intelligent Addressable Loop-Powered Electronic Sounders (57 units) - 3 kVA Online Double-Conversion UPS with batteries (1 unit) - 2-Core × 1.5 mm² fire-resistant, shielded, twisted-pair LSZH fire alarm cable (8500 meters) - PVC Conduit 25 mm diameter with accessories (8500 meters) - Soft and hard digging for cable laying with protective tape - Complete installation, testing, commissioning, programming, and training services The scope includes turnkey execution covering design verification, supply of all hardware and software, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, integration with other building systems, and training of 10 PSPC personnel. The system must comply with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, IEC/BS standards, and Pakistan Building Code. Bidders must be authorized OEM dealers with at least 10 years of relevant experience and proven track record of similar projects worth at least PKR 35 million. The project execution team must include qualified engineers with relevant certifications and direct employment status. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on October 2, 2026, with original bid security submitted physically before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. The contract includes a one-year comprehensive warranty and a performance security of 5% of the contract price. The project completion period is 7 months from the date of purchase order.
