Tender Description
The Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, Sindh, invites qualified suppliers to participate in the procurement of air-conditioning units for classrooms under Phase-I of the SDG#4 initiative. This tender covers the supply, installation, commissioning, and demonstration of 1.5 Ton DC Invertor split air-conditioners "Cool Only" with approved makes including Kenwood, Gree, Haier or equivalent. The procurement is intended to enhance the learning environment at QUEST Nawabshah, located in District Shaheed Benazirabad.
Items being procured:
- Supply and Installation of 1.5 Ton DC Invertor split Air-Conditioner(s) "Cool Only" (Quantity: 98 units)
- Providing and fixing of fitting materials, additional copper pipe with insulation rubber, electrical works including cables, circuit breakers, connectors, duct patti, power plugs with boards, and all allied materials necessary for complete installation and energizing of each air-conditioner (Quantity: 98 sets)
The technical scope includes delivery duty paid (DDP) supply, installation, putting into operation, and demonstration of the air-conditioning units in classrooms. Installation works include copper tubing, insulation, internal wiring, making cuts and holes in walls with proper sealing and finishing. The electrical supply will be connected from the nearest distribution board with all necessary materials and workmanship.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have a minimum of five years relevant experience, valid registration with Federal and Provincial tax authorities, active taxpayer status on FBR, and compliance with technical specifications. Bid security of 5% amounting to Rs. 967,872/- in the form of Pay Order is mandatory. Bidders must submit original proforma invoices and manufacturer authorization certificates where applicable.
The bid submission deadline is **08-09-2026 at 11:15 AM**, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:45 AM in the Conference Hall, Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, QUEST Nawabshah. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Procurement Manager at the PGS Building, QUEST, Sakrand Road, Nawabshah. The university reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by 15% as per SPPRA rules.
