Tender Description
The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites electronic bids from registered and prequalified firms authorized by DISCOs, NGC, WAPDA, GENCOS, or PPMC for the procurement of specialized testing equipment. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with funds reserved accordingly. The items being procured include:
- Relay Test Set (01 No.)
- CT/PT Analyzer (03 Nos.)
- NCB-STG- DC HiPot Test Set (02 Nos.)
- Winding Resistance Test Set (02 Nos.)
- Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer (SFRA) (02 Nos.)
These testing instruments are critical for electrical equipment diagnostics and maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety in power distribution. The equipment origins include USA, Europe, and Japan, reflecting high-quality standards. Bidders must submit bids through the EPADS v2.0 electronic procurement system using the Single Stage Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique, in compliance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is mandatory as per the bidding document. Bids without valid bid security or type test reports from designated laboratories as per NTDC Type Test Policy 2023 will be rejected. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS v2.0 before the tender opening date and regularly check for clarifications. The bid validity period is 150 days with bid guarantee valid for 28 days beyond bid validity.
