Tender Description
Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the supply and installation of an Air Conditioning System at the Masjid (Main Campus) Sukkur IBA University, Sindh. This tender is issued by Sukkur IBA University located at Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road, Sukkur. The project involves the complete supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems with a completion period of 120 days. Items being procured:
- Floor Standing Split Type Air Conditioning Units (8.0 TR capacity) - 4 Nos
- Floor Standing Split Type Air Conditioning Units (8.0 TR capacity) - 4 Nos
- Wall Mounted Split Type Air Conditioning Units (2.0 TR capacity) - 3 Nos
- Copper Piping with insulation and accessories for 8.0 TR and 2.0 TR units
- UPVC Class-D Piping for equipment drain with insulation
- Electrical connections including various sizes of CU/PVC cables
- Circuit Breakers (40 Amp 3 Pole and 32 Amp 3 Pole)
- Additional refrigerant charge
- Powder Coated Cable Tray (4"x3" and 6"x3")
- Industrial Type Air Curtains with Auto Sensors - 3 Nos
- Powder Coated/Painted Stand for Floor Standing Indoor Units
- Shop drawings and as-built drawings (hard and soft copies)
- Testing, commissioning, balancing, and handing over of the complete system
- Openings/core cutting for glass or wall
- Fire stopping of walls and structure
- Equipment foundation, lifting and shifting charges
- Supply of spare parts including compressor, condenser fan motor, PCB cards, blower motor
- Any other necessary items to complete the job
The technical scope includes T3 tropical range floor standing and wall mounted split AC units with R410A refrigerant, copper coils, vibration isolators, and advanced microprocessor controls with wireless LCD remote controllers. The system is designed for high ambient temperatures up to 52Β°C. The contractor must provide complete refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, insulation, and commissioning services. Eligibility requires PEC registration in category C-6 or above with ME-01 specialization, valid tax registrations, minimum average annual turnover equal to or above the estimated cost, and no litigation or blacklisting history. Earnest Money of Rs. 350,000 is required in the form of pay order/demand draft. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 03:00 PM on July 23, 2026, with bid opening at 03:30 PM the same day. The bid security original must be delivered to the Project Director's office before the deadline. A practical tip for bidders: ensure all technical compliance sheets and manufacturer catalogues are attached with the bid to avoid disqualification. Also, verify your bid submission is reflected in the EPADS bid opening list to avoid being treated as non-submitted.
